Aftershock Season 2 launches

Find it everywhere you POD. It’s currently at #3 on the Apple Fiction chart, so it’s great to know people are reconnecting with the series. It’s definitely a different world out there today than when we launched Season One in 2021.

Story-wise, Season Two picks up where Season One left off taking new twists and turns by going deeper with the characters you know and introducing some new stand-outs.

It was great to reunite with the incredible team of Writer/Director/Star Sarah Wayne Calles, Producer Ben Haber, and Story Creator Patrick Carmen to continue the Aftershock story for another ten episodes.

I designed & mixed the season in Dolby Atmos, and it sounds incredible in the studio. I so wish you could hear it in this (or similar) environment. But neither iHeart (our platform partner) nor any of the public podcast platforms are able to properly play out the spatial mix. Still, that doesn’t detract from the experience, you’ll still get a great-sounding story! And so the challenge with delivering Dolby Atmos for podcasts continues!

As with Season One, there are a few moments that I’ll post about the “making of” or “thoughts behind” once a few more episodes hit the public.

In the meantime, I hope you give it a listen and let me know your thoughts via email!
